I walked out to the car this morning to head to work and immediately heard the distinct sound of a woodpecker.  I looked up and there he sat on a limb with perfect morning light falling on his red head.  Just happened to have the camera case in my hand and couldn't resist taking a few shots

Nice shots Dustin, I love those peckers, that and Redheaded are my favorites First time I ever saw one of those in a secluded wooded area many years ago, I looked it up in a book and thought I'd re-discovered the extinct Ivory Billed Woodpecker. Later found out the truth.
